The service is a little slow, so be prepared to be patient. It's worth it though because the food is good. Healthy and value for money. My two favourites. We got a table right away, but sometimes there is a line down the street, so ideally, book ahead.

This cozy spot serves up some seriously satisfying eats! The spicy tuna bowl is fresh and full of flavor, with just the right kick. The toasted bulgogi sandwich is a standout — perfectly crispy on the outside and packed with juicy, savoury beef and greens. Definitely worth a visit if you're craving a hearty and delicious meal.

A lovely surprise on this long weekend. I found this place by chance this morning while most cafés around Gordon were closed for the public holiday and I’m so glad I did! After a 45 minute morning walk, I stopped by Missing Spoon and got myself a takeaway salmon combination with sashimi. Everything was beautifully presented even for takeaway, super fresh, and the salmon literally melted in my mouth. Their coffee was also really good.. So rich and comforting, just what I needed to start the day. The staff were friendly and welcoming, even though it was early in the morning. You can really feel that warm Japanese touch in both the food and the service. It’s not easy to find a place that opens on a long weekend and still serves food this fresh and tasty. Missing Spoon definitely made my morning brighter I’ll absolutely come back again, maybe next time to dine in and try more of their Japanese dishes

Very extensive menu at Missing Spoon. I was a bit overwhelmed with the choice! We ended up trying the KFC snack pack, kingfish poke bowl and the tempura set. Everything was delicious. The only thing I had to fault was I wish there was some dipping sauce with the tempura. It was super busy as well so be prepared to wait for a table. But overall very happy!

Food was well made and full of flavour. would come back, be prepared for a wait but. The service could be worked on as they seem to be understaffed. However, if you're patient, the reward is delicious food still worth the wait

I came in for a casual lunch and ended up with a full-on feast! The Cheese Katsu Soiree was rich, crispy, and melty in the best way — indulgent but still balanced with crunchy cabbage and tangy sauce. The Premium Tempura Udon came with beautifully light and crispy tempura, paired with a clean, flavourful broth that hit all the right notes. The Classic Sushi Sashimi Set was fresh, generous, and expertly prepared — perfect for sushi lovers who want a variety in one plate. For drinks, I tried the Iced Strawberry Matcha and the Hawaiian Iced Tea, and both were refreshing, not too sweet, and paired perfectly with the meal. The team is friendly, the space is cozy and clean, and everything just feels well thought-out. The place is pet friendly too.

We always enjoy the food here. We had the KFC bento box which was delicious and plentiful. The beef bibimbap, Nashville chicken burger and chips were also tasty and satisfying. Everything tastes freshly prepared and beautifully presented.

We have craving for their poke bowls on a regular basis and sometimes we would drive over just to buy their poke bowls as takeaway. What prompted me to write a review today was their new menu! In particular their Tendon was surprisingly good! We also ordered the Cheese Chicken Katsu to share and that reminded me of a Cordon Bleu except the ham is missing. The Katsu’s portion is bigger than how it looks in the pic and definitely enough for one person. Both the katsu and tempura were fried well and we now have an additional favourite dish (aside from poke bowls). My only gripe is that the wait for food during peak hours can be 40 mins (we waited for 60 mins for lunch on another occasion).
